I’m a master boat captain, professional marine photographer, and skilled commercial drone pilot. I’m based in Cavendish, VT and travel often for gigs. In winter, I work full-time ski patrol at Okemo Mountain.

Life centers on my wife Daniela, our daughter, and our Australian Labradoodle Grommet — on our riverfront property in Cavendish, Vermont, where I handle the normal upkeep on our homes myself, including rental-home carpentry and tractor work.

I rose from dispatcher to senior manager, trained 20 instructors, and ran a 100+ boat fleet.
I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences from University of Connecticut in Storrs, Connecticut.
I’m Allen Michael Clark, a professional marine photographer and USCG licensed 100-ton Master captain based in Cavendish, Vermont. My career on the water began in the mid-1990s at Longshore Sailing School in Connecticut, led me to yacht photography in the British Virgin Islands, and then to founding PhotoBoat.com with my wife Daniela in 2005. It is now one of the best-known marine photography businesses in the country, covering regattas nationwide, with our photos in WindCheck, Sailing World, and dozens more magazines. I also work seasonally as an Okemo ski patroller and offer drone, real estate, and portrait photography, plus freelance boat deliveries across New England, Florida, and the Caribbean.
